Lisa Stankus serves as the Special Education Coordinator at the Quentin Road Christian School as well as the Director of Quentin Road Dyslexia Solutions, which opened it’s doors in 2006. Lisa is a certified dyslexia diagnostician and a certified tutor for Orton-Gillingham Method, specifically in the Barton Reading and Spelling Program. Lisa also is a trained LiPS instructor for the Lindamood Bell phonemic awareness program. She graduated with a BA in Special Education from Northern Illinois University in 1984. Since then, she has been teaching for over 22 years in both special education and regular education, ages kindergarten through high school. She has also taught both in public schools and in private schools.
Lisa is also available to speak and give presentations. She has presented at Libraries, M.O.P.S., Rotary and Lions Clubs, and led hands-on seminars to hundreds of parents and teachers at the Dyslexia Center.
