Dr. James A. Scudder is the founder and senior pastor of the Quentin Road Bible Baptist Church. He, his wife, Linda, and two young children came to Chicago to start a church in 1971. They had no financial support but through God’s grace were able to begin a Bible believing and teaching church. God has blessed Quentin Road throughout the years and now Dr. Scudder is the founder of the world’s largest Christian Preschool, Quentin Road Christian School and the Chancellor of Dayspring Bible College. Dr. Scudder has authored several books including Beyond Failure and Your Secret to Spiritual Success. His teaching ministry, Victory In Grace, airs on television and radio stations throughout the United States and the world.
Dr. Scudder began Quentin Road Dyslexia Solutions in 2006. In the five years since its inception, the center has grown to over two dozen tutors teaching one-on-one to about 100 students multiple times each week. Hundreds of students have succeeded in school, thanks to Dr. Scudder’s vision.
